METROLOGY WEIGHT
OIML WEIGHTS FROM 1mg TO 50kg CLASSES E1 AND E2 These weights comply with metrological criteria in terms of material (roughness, magnetization, etc.), shapes, markings and tolerances (Maximum Tolerated Errors: EMT) defined in the OIML international recommendation R111
Areas of use for class E weights
Class E1 standards are used for:
- the calibration of class E2 weights according to OIML R111 up to 50kg.
- the calibration of weighing instruments with a number of scales* greater than 1,000,000.
- the verification of class I weighing instruments according to OIML R76 or EN 45501.
the calibration of class weighing instruments I.
Class E2 standards are used for:
- the calibration of class F1 weights according to OIML R111 up to 1000kg.
- the calibration of weighing instruments with a number of scales* greater than 100,000.
- the verification of class I or II weighing instruments according to OIML R76 or EN 45501.
- the calibration of weighing instruments class I or II.
Handling / Maintenance / Storage of class E weights
Handling / Use : Zwiebel offers a complete series of accessories allowing you to use your weights in optimal conditions (tweezers, grip handles, gloves, etc.)
Maintenance : To ensure the reliability of your results, your weights must be regularly dusted. As the surface condition of the weights must not be modified in any way, we offer you accessories adapted to the maintenance of your weights such as brushes or cleaning kits.
Storage : It is recommended to store standard weights and masses in their original boxes. Standard weights and masses without a box should be stored in appropriate locations (laboratory conditions, under a bell jar, etc.).

CLASSE F
OIML WEIGHTS FROM 1mg TO 50kg CLASSES F1 AND F2 These weights comply with metrological criteria in terms of material (roughness, magnetization, etc.), shapes, markings and tolerances (Maximum Tolerated Errors: EMT) defined in the OIML international recommendation R111 “F1 weights from 1g are polished while those of class F2 are brushed. “
Areas of use for class F weights
Class F1 mass standards are used for:
– the calibration of class F2 weights according to OIML R111 up to 5000kg.
– the calibration of weighing instruments with a number of scales* greater than 30,000.
– the verification of class II weighing instruments according to OIML R76 or EN 45501.
– the calibration of class weighing instruments II.
Class F2 mass standards are used for:
– the calibration of class M1 weights according to OIML R111 up to 5000kg.
– the calibration of weighing instruments whose number of scales* is greater than 10,000.
– the verification of class II weighing instruments and whose number of scales* is between 10,000 and 30,000 depending on OIML R76 or EN 45501.
– the calibration of class II weighing instruments whose number of scales* is between 10,000 and 30,000.
We are able to offer you a wide choice of quality weights and masses. We are therefore able to go further by offering you positive tolerance weights for the F1 class, ensuring increased longevity for their use.
